Two Anniversaries

D-Day 1944

This year marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Our thanks to Pengam School for allowing us to use their hall for this event in their half term. Fancy dress is optional, but coming in the 1940s fashion would be great.

Caerphilly Over 50

The Welsh Government included the creation of 50+ Forums in their Strategy for Older People in 2003. Caerphilly 50+ Forum came into existence in the following year. Despite the Covid Pandemic and cost-of -living issues, Caerphilly Over 50 continues with programmes to help our care homes and a renewed Steering Committee.
